BNI sets aside Rp16.2t for Christmas, New Years
State-owned Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) hasallocated Rp 16.2 trillion (US$1.79 billion) to meet its customers needs duringthis holiday season, according to a company executive.
The funds will be distributed to its 6,227automatic teller machines (ATMs) and 1,300 branches across the country fromDec. 19 to Jan. 7, 2012.
BNI operational general manager KartikaSiwi said that the bank would also intensify 24-hour surveillance at its ATMs.
The company will also deploy aquick-response team to tackle problems, kompas.com reported.(swd)
